Racing champ Lewis Hamilton is a very rich man for someone that’s just 35 years old, but that’s what happens when you win as many trophies as he has. Several years ago Hamilton owned a very flash $30-million-dollar Bombardier Challenger 605 in red. However, he sold it a few years after buying it in 2013 in a bid to live a more eco-friendly lifestyle.

According to sources, the jet is now owned by a private jet company called SaxonAir in the UK. Not only did Hamilton ditch the plane, but he doesn’t eat meat now either. Like many celebrities, Hamilton spends a fair amount of time talking about how we can help to reduce our carbon footprint. By ditching the jet and opting for veggies over beef, he hopes to make his own dent and help save the planet.
