Well, first of all the name alone qualifies the King Midget (yes, that’s really what it was called) for this list. The vehicle was manufactured as an affordable “mini-car” from the late 1940s through the end of the 1960s.

At one point, it was even sold as a $500 kit that buyers had to assemble themselves. Cool for a DIY project or child’s toy, but for a real road ready vehicle, not so much.
