In 2022, Netflix debuted Inventing Anna, which was produced by none other than Shonda Rhimes. According to recent news, Anna was paid no less than $320,000 by Netflix for the right to tell her story.

Julia Garner, the actress who plays Anna’s role in the series, met the convicted fake heiress at the Albion Correctional Facility and later shared with the magazine Town & Country that “[Anna] is actually really sweet… She’s very gentle. But then her voice gets less soft-spoken when she wants something.”
