ANNA BURNS – WIFE OF WES WELKER

Anna Burns was a star in her own right before she tied the knot with Wes Welker. She was a bikini model who was named Miss Hooters International in 2005. She also used to be the Hooters Calendar girl. There was no information about how these two met, but they were first linked in 2010. At the time, Wes was still a member of the New England Patriots. When Anna was seen watching in the owner’s box at a Patriot’s game, she was quickly recognized as Wes’s girlfriend.

In 2012, the couple got engaged and eventually got married later that year. To some degree, Anna became more famous in 2013, which can be credited to a Facebook rant she posted that made national headlines. She bashed Ray Lewis after defeating the Patriots in the AFC Championship. After she deleted the post, she quickly released a statement to a sport’s blog, Larry Brown Sports, apologizing for her harsh remarks.
