David Muir graduated with a degree in Journalism from Syracuse University, New York, in the mid-90s. He started his career as staff at WTVH-TV. From there, he earned multiple awards, including the Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Journalism. But how did he become a big name in the industry and be able to worth this much? Well, it all started when he had his big break when he became the anchor for World News Now for ABC.

The show was later renamed World News with David Muir. His talent was not left unnoticed, that he was given a lot of work since then. Working with ABC, he became their most-used anchor in the entire history of the media company. His name was already synonymous with the company, and he is famous like that. After getting a lot of jobs and getting paid twice as much as other Journalists, Muir made his net worth to millions. It was reported recently that he has invested in real estate and has bought a $7 million home in Skaneateles Lake.
