SHIRLEY JONES – 85

Shirley Jones has been working in the industry for almost seven decades now as a singer and actress. She was a featured performer at the 1988 Republican National Convention. After playing roles in movie musicals like Oklahoma, Carousel, and The Music Man, she rose to fame. Shirley Jones also brought home the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress thanks to her performance in the 1960 movie Elmer Gantry. During the ’70s, she continued making noise in the hit sitcom The Partridge Family.

Jones received a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame on Valentine’s Day, 1986. Although she’s like her wholesome public image in many ways, she does have another side to her personality, which shows in her liking books on true crime.

Jones also released a few albums under her name, and it was a good investment on her part. She consistently became a successful singer in that field as well.
