MEG RYAN – 58

Meg Ryan may have started her career with minor roles back in 1981, but it definitely did not take long before becoming a Hollywood household name. Just a year after she started, the then 21-year-old Meg got a break from the CBS soap opera As the World Turns. The show made her an instant hit, and from here on, Meg started gaining major supporting roles, beginning with the box office hit Top Gun. She also got recognition when she did the independent film Promised Land.

Another breakthrough came her way when she did the film When Harry Met Sally in 1989, which earned her her first Golden Globe nomination. Since then, Meg’s has filled her career with excellent films and TV series. She also tried spending her investment money into making quality movies and started directing. Her first film as a director, Ithaca, premiered in 2015. The film took inspiration from William Saroyan’s The Human Comedy and featured herself and her son Jack Quaid. There’s still no update about Meg’s next career step, but we’re looking forward to seeing more of her in the future.
