BERNNADETTE STANIS – 67
Actress Bernnadette Stanis is widely known for portraying Thelma Selma Evans on the sitcom Good Times, which ran from 1974 to 1979. She is also an accomplished author who has released four books as of date, including The Last Night and Situations 101: Finances. After the sitcom ended, she lent her voice to a radio spot for AT&T and went on to star in a Nationwide Insurance commercial. She has also graced the silver screen with the films Caution! Heartache Ahead and Still ‘Bout It.
To this day, the audience still loves Good Times, and most of them laud Stanis for setting fashion trends with her character’s wardrobe back in the day. While she isn’t busy working in Hollywood nowadays, she’s busy being a proud mother of two. Her daughters, Dior and Brittany, may have shied away from the limelight, but they’re following in their mom’s footsteps in advocating for Alzheimer’s disease.
