ELINOR DONAHUE – 83

The 1950s were the heydays of actress Elinor Donahue. Her role in the American sitcom Father Knows Best helped launch her acting career. She was best remembered as Betty Anderson, the eldest child of Margaret and Jim Anderson. She actually started acting at a young age and played numerous roles up to her teenage years. Elinor was active in the film industry from 1943 to 2014.

She has continued working in the subsequent years and has over 100 acting credits to her name. She also published a memoir in 1998, which contained her 150 unique recipes (she loves cooking, by the way) and her Hollywood memories. In recent years, she portrayed Judge Marie Anderson in The Young and the Restless, her last known TV role. Donahue has been married to Lou Genevrino since 1992, and she has four children with her former husband, Harry Ackerman.
