Bo Derek made fans fall in love with her beauty and laugh at her wits in the 1979 comedy film 10. Her role as Jenny Hanley was considered to be the breakthrough character that helped her gain prominence. She was nominated for New Star of the Year in a Motion Picture at the Golden Globe Awards and won three Golden Raspberry Awards. She went on to star in her late husband John Derek’s films: Fantasies, Tarzan, the Ape Man, Bolero, and Ghosts Can’t Do It. Aside from being an actress, Bo is also making an investment in films by being a film producer. She also used to be a model.

Since 2002, Bo has been dating fellow actor John Corbett. You can still see Bo occasionally in some films and documentaries. She also supports various advocacies like WildAid and the Animal Welfare Institute. She is also active on the California Horse Racing Board.
