CATHERINE DENEUVE – 77

Catherine Deneuve didn’t receive the credit of being one of the greatest European actresses for nothing. She’s one of the favorite leading stars of the most critically-acclaimed directors, from Luis Buñuel to François Truffaut to Roman Polanski. The now-77-year-old star also became the face of Marianne, which is France’s national symbol of liberty, succeeding Mireille Mathieu, from 1985 to 1989.

It can’t be denied that Catherine has a prolific acting career, which she started at the tender age of 13. Now, she’s an award-winning actress who has made an outstanding contribution to the entertainment business – but she wasn’t just into acting. She was also into modeling, becoming the face of Chanel No. 5, American Home Products, and Youth Grade Cosmetics. Of course, she also endorsed some of the most luxurious brands. Catherine was once the muse of the renowned designer Yves Saint Laurent, and the face of L’Oreal Paris, MAC Beauty Icon, and Louis Vuitton, among others.
