In the early ’80s and early ’90s, most boys had a massive crush on this brunette beauty. Phoebe Cates is the daughter of the major Broadway producer Joseph Cates and Broadway insider Lily Cates. She started as a model and dancer, but she rose to prominence for her roles in Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Gremlins.

It was her appearance in Fast Times at Ridgemont High that made her a global phenomenon. As Rolling Stone described, her bikini scene in the film was “the most memorable bikini-drop in cinema history.” After taking a hiatus in Hollywood, she had investments in putting up a boutique called Blue Tree that sells a variety of products from jewelry to clothing and antiques. Her business is a successful one, but we hope that we can still see Phoebe’s gorgeous face on the screen.
