Ali MacGraw rose from being an assistant photographer from Harper’s Bazaar magazine to an influential actress during the late 60s until the early 70s. Her exceptional performance in the 1969 film Goodbye, Columbus gained worldwide acclaim and earned her the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. Her career peaked further thanks to the romantic-drama flick Love Story, where she was nominated for another Golden Globe, this time for Best Actress.

She saw even more success when she joined the ABC soap opera Dynasty, playing Lady Ashley Mitchell for 14 episodes. MacGraw was also voted as the top female box office star in the world, proving her talent and worth. She now devotes her life to animal protection and practices Hatha Yoga. Her yoga video, Ali MacGraw Yoga Mind And Body became a bestselling video that made the practice popular in the United States. She must have made some good investments early on since she retired so early.
