BARBARA BABCOCK – 82

Barbara Babcock started making money by playing small roles during the ’50s. She even appeared in Star Trek. Her investments paid off when  Babcock received a signed contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. She starred in films like Day of the Evil Gun and Heaven With A Gun, dominating her roles; she did gather a considerable amount of recognition in terms of her craft, where she managed to thrive and do very well.  Having been nominated in different Hollywood Awards is not something to be taken lightly. She was ranked in People Magazine’s 50 Most Beautiful People in the World in 1994.

Babcock’s most notable role was Grace Gardner on the hit series Hill Street Blues. Her peers started noticing her talents, and she won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 1981. In 2004, she officially retired from acting and enjoying her private life with her family and close friends.
