SHELLEY DUVALL – 70

Shelley Duvall had been an actress, singer, producer, and writer since 1970 until her retirement back in 2002. She began to work with director Robert Altman in films like Brewster McCloud, McCabe and Mrs. Miller, Nashville, and Thieves Like Us. Duvall managed to wow her audience every time the seasoned actress that she is, giving her more room in the limelight.

During the 80s, Duvall worked behind the scenes on children’s shows. Her imagination deserves credit for earning her an Emmy Award nomination for her show Tall Tales; Legends, which in turn brought children’s shows to the mainstream entertainment scene. Duvall was inducted into the Texas Film Hall of Fame too. From being an actress for the children’s performance to Stephen King’s The Shining, she demonstrated her versatility for her craft. She shocked her peers when she revealed that she had a mental illness. We hope this iconic performer gets better.
